30.10.2025Economy of Regions announces a call for papers for an upcoming Special Issue “Investment and Financial Cooperation in Greater Eurasia: The Role of Russia and China” (№3 (September) 2026). The Guest Editors of this Issue are Doctor of Sciences (Economics), Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director of the Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Alexey V. Kuznetsov, and the Director of the Institute of East European, Russian and Central Asian Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (IEERCAS CASS) Professor Sun Zhuangzhi.

Economy of Regions will become gold open access journal
14.11.2024From 2025, the journal Economy of Regions will switch to gold open access model. Authors of all articles submitted after January 10, 2025 will pay APC. The quoted APC will only be payable after the article is accepted for publication following peer review.

11.06.2024On June 28, 2024, a round table “Financial models for publishing economic academic journals” will be held in Ekaterinburg (Russia). The event will be part of the XI European-Asian Symposium on Economic Theory (EASET-2024). The organizers of the round table are the Institute of Economics of the Ural Branch of RAS together with the Russian Association of Science Editors and Publishers (RASEP).
